Why are the Charges different for different cities?
The charges for different cities are different because of 2 main reasons:
1. Running cost of the shows is different in different cities. Factors like, Venue Cost, Local Licensing Fees, Event Management Costs etc, all vary city to city.
2. All our venues are proper auditoriums, and not halls of schools, colleges or universities like how many other regional 1. shows are run. These are proper venues, and they cost a lot of money. We are doing this, because we want to run proper shows and give GOOD CLEAR PROPER PLATFORM TO ATHLETES TO COMPETE. And we can’t do this without having to charge a little higher from athletes. Most of the money collected in registration is only going back into either running of the shows or back to athletes in prize money.
3. Also, smaller cities athletes generally aren’t comfortable to pay higher prices for Registrations, sand we did not want to take the opportunity away from them to compete in a quality show.
So, we had to take the above and other factors into account while deciding the Registration Fees.

Why are the Registration Charges higher for Final Show?
1. Mumbai being the most expensive city in the world, running cost of a show in Mumbai is considerably higher than any other city in India. is different in different cities. Factors like, Venue Cost, Local Licensing Fees, Event Management Costs etc, all vary city to city.
2. Mumbai also has a 2 Day Format. Prejudging on Saturday & Grand Finals on Sunday. This essentially means double the running cost. This means, running a show will cost somewhere in the vicinity of 20 to 25 Lakhs.
3. Prize money to be given out in Mumbai by all accounts will be well above 25 – 30 Lakhs. Majority of the money collected will be going into running organizing/running of the show, medals, trophies, certificates, and Prize Money.
4. The entire Mumbai show is worth 40 to 50 Lakhs to host.
5. Athletes always say, “there is no fair or good platform to compete in India – Nobody gives athletes any respect – the shows are run horribly – There is so much cheating”. Well, we changed all that with our 1st Edition of Boss Classic & showed the world how shows are run ON TIME – WITH HONEST WORLD CLASS JUDGING – ATHLETES LOOKED AFTER – WITH WORLD CLASS VENUE – WITH SOLID PRIZE MONEY. And all these things cost money, so as a result we honestly believe – if we want ATHLETES TO BE PUT FIRST – THEN WE ALL MUST WORK “TOGETHER” TO CHANGE THAT.
So, we need YOU to HELP US – TO HELP YOU GUYS!
And that’s why unfortunately, we have to charge what we are charging and we honestly believe it is a fair amount.

Can I compete in more than 1 Class?
Yes, you can.

If I wanted to compete in Men’s Physique, Bodybuilding and Classic Physique, can I do that?
Yes, you can.

In the Grand Final National Show, Will the Prize Money be based on the number of athletes compete in the Finals on Sunday or the total number of athletes competing in the Prejudging on Saturday? The prize money for each Category will be based on the number of athletes participating in the Prejudging on Saturday. So, whether there are 10 athletes that get on stage in the Finals on Sunday or 20, the Prize will still be given based on the number of athletes having participated in the Prejudging on Saturday.

How will the athletes know how many athletes registered for each Category?

The Athlete Registration List will be available for Open Access to Any athlete or their supporter right throughout Saturday and Sunday Finals. And likewise, the Athlete Registration List will be available all day on the day of Competition for Any athlete or their supporters.

Why is the Prize Money structured in this way?

This is a very good and a valid question.

When you are charging 3,000 to 6,000 Per Registration, and put a fixed prize money of 2 Lakhs, unless you get 40 to 50 Registrations in EACH class, you can not even cover the Prize money cost. And when you get only 5 to 10 Registrations in some classes (Many body building classes, women’s classes, Masters etc) and only make a revenue of 40 to 50,000 from a class, and you have committed to pay 2 Lakhs in Prize money, in that instance, if you haven’t got a lot of money from Sponsors, you as an organizer end up paying from your own pocket. And if you end up paying 20 to 30 Lakhs from your own pocket, it’s impossible to sustain Big Quality Shows like Boss Classic.
We have created a WORLD FIRST REGISTRATIONS BASED PRIZE MONEY SYSTEM – Where the Prize Money given out is in DIRECT CORRELATION TO THE NUMBER OF REGISTRATIONS.
If more athletes register in a Class, then Prize Money is higher, and if less register in a class, then the Prize Money is Lesser. This system allows us to allocate upto 4 Lakhs to a class if we get enough Registrations.
This system will allow us to run the shows even without any money coming from the Sponsors.
We didn’t want to be in a position, where if the sponsors didn’t put in 40 to 50 Lakhs, then we couldn’t either give Cash Prizes, Not deliver a Top Quality Show, or to have cancel the whole thing.

This System gives us the power to give out:
1. FAIR AMOUNT OF CASH PRIZES.
2. DELIVER TOP CLASS SHOWS.
3. Not be dependent or be at the mercy of any sponsors.
4. Continue to make the game prosper in India

How much money will Boss Classic actually make from a System like this?

This is a very good question. The way we have structured things – not much. Especially without sponsors pumping in Lakhs.
In body building shows, money primarily comes from 2 sources: 1: Athlete Registrations and 2: Sponsors.
And the money goes out in: 1: Prize Money, 2: Trophies – Medals & 3: Running the Shows.
And as everyone knows the level of shows we put on, our shows aren’t cheap to run. So, basically whatever money we will collect from the Athletes will go back into Cash Prizes, Trophies – Medals & Events.
All in all, majority of the money – if not all, will go back into the entire cost of the Boss Classic

Seems like a very risky way of doing business?

Yes absolutely. The event cost is the same regardless of the number of athlete registrations we get. So, if for any reason we don’t enough registrations, then we will be putting money from our own pockets to run the shows – The quality of the shows & the promises we make – NEITHER WILL SUFFER OR BROKEN – Even though we have Crores on the line!

So, if it is so risky and has so much risk, then why bother doing it?

This is a super question, and the one we have been asked by our close friends, confidants and even our business advisors.
It’s pretty simple – The team at Boss Classic is made up of HIGHLY MOTIVATED INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DETERMINED TO BRING A CHANGE IN NOT ONLY THE INDIAN BODYBUILDING – BUT GLOBAL BODY BUILDING & AND TRULY PUT ON SHOWS – BY THE ATHLETES – FOR THE ATHLETES!
When we set out to do the Goa Show, and we decided to go Independent and not with any Federation, everyone told us, we were mad, and we would never succeed – but we had a CLEAR VISION & FAITH – We WORKED OUR BACKS OFF – DID EVERYTHING WITH 100% HONESTY, INTEGRITY & TRANSPARENCY, AND AS A RESULT PUT ON THE BEST SHOW THE COUNTRY HAD EVER SEEN & TURNED IT INTO A HUGE SUCCESS.
Likewise, we have embarked on this season with the same attitude and outlook.
People said to us – It couldn’t be done – We not only did it – But we DID IT WITH RESOUNDING SUCCESS.
Same way, we are embarking on another monumental challenge & we are determined, with the LOVE AND SUPPORT OF EVERYONE – WE WILL SUCCESS & CONTINUE TO BRING THE MUCH NEEDED REVOLUTION IN THE INDIAN AND GLOBAL BODYBUILDING WORLD.

What makes you guys claim Boss Classic to be the Number 1 Show in India?

This is a big claim and we understand that.
Below are the reasons why we strongly believe Boss Classic is the Number 1 Bodybuilding Show in India:
1. Most number of Categories in any show in India till date
    • 15 Categories in the Regional Shows.
    • 23 Categories in the Grand Final Show.
This number of categories in a single show is unprecedented in the Indian Bodybuilding History. There is a category for virtually everyone.
2. Best and most fair judging in India by a long way.
    • All our judges are of International level, especially at the Grand Final Show many of our judges come from overseas, and many of them are truly world class.
Judging is truly done to International and Mr. Olympia standards. Our judges for the last Boss Classic were strongly instructed to reward only those physiques which are on par with the judging criteria at Mr. Olympia. For example, in Men’s physique, only those guys were rewarded with placings who not only had great proportions, but also had good size and conditioning. Many Men’s physique guys with good size have been losing to many skinny guys – even when they had nice narrow waists and broad shoulders, they still lost to much smaller guys. At Boss Classic, we made it a point to reward the “correct” physique.
3. Last Boss Classic was run on time and super smoothly, with great backstage arrangements for athletes. And this year again, our emphasis is very much on running all shows on time, and smoothly.
